The
analysers are produced by Environnement SA. They use
the measurement principles prescribed in emission standards
88/77/CEE and 70/770/CEE :
-
NDIR for CO and CO2
-
PMD for O2
-
HFID for HCT and CH4
-
HCLD for NO and NOX
All
analysers are connected to the bench control PC via
Ethernet TCP/IP.
The
engine exhaust gases are sampled and filtered by a trolley
located next to the engine. They are pushed from the
trolley to the emission bench where they are analysed
either directly or after having passed a cooler, depending
on the measurement principle.
The
user interface allows to control the bench as a whole
or each analyser individually.
The
bench can be controlled by an automation system like
Morphée via a Ethernet link or a serial link
RS232 by means of the AK protocol.
