The set is built around the ANALOG DEVICES line Driver / Receiver pair type SSM 2142 / 2141. The power supplies are identical in the two system racks being linear and isolated for each channel. The transformer has 8 secondary windings with a mid point. Rated at 15VA. Connection between system racks is made using a shielded twisted- par cable for each channel. Each screen is held at 0V of from its transceiver channel. The units use BNC connectors for the un-balanced signals and a D type for the balanced lines.
